Time artworks
After investigating how to record time we looked at different measurements of time and artworks created by artists about time. We then had a go at using oil pastels to create our own “Time Pieces”
Harmony Day
This term Mother Teresa Primary celebrated Harmony Day. We came dressed in national costume or wore an orange top to mark this special day. At lunchtime we got to taste sweets from other cultures and celebrated our diversity with a liturgy. We learnt that harmony means while we are all different and unique, we still belong. We looked at mandalas that represented people’s beliefs about Harmony. Using hexagons we created we our tessellating mandalas with symbols that are important and mean harmony to us.
